Steven Frantz is an accomplished senior sales executive, with over 28 years in the hotel industry, including the last 12 years with Benchmark Resorts & Hotels. During his tenure with the company, he received the Benchmark Award of Excellence, was awarded Benchmark’s prestigious Best of Best distinction. A member of the organization’s exclusive Benchmark Platinum Sales Club. He is also active in both the community and hospitality industry, to include the Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce, the Scottsdale and Phoenix Convention and Visitors Bureaus, the Valley Hotel & Resort Association and the Green Meeting Industry Council.
Frantz is adept at development and implementation of sales strategies. He identifies and assigns territories, coordinates promotional campaigns and provides his team with the necessary tools to achieve their goals. Moreover, he sets organizational standards for customer service and guest loyalty, effectively positioning hotel salespeople to maximize their potential. He implements effective sales techniques, such as qualifying prospects; how to build product value; and how to close deals, key components of effective sales training. Frantz monitors the sales department operational initiatives to include the development of target-specific strategies to achieve the hotel’s business objectives by developing core strategies.
